At the Dzidzo Foundation, we believe that children are the ​very essence of our future. Their potential tomorrow is ​shaped by the support and opportunities they receive today. ​We are dedicated to ensuring that every child, regardless of ​their background, has access to quality education and the ​chance to succeed.

We are committed to providing the same educational ​opportunities to all children, believing that basic skills like ​reading and writing are fundamental in transforming lives ​and communities. Our mission is to empower children ​through education, fostering growth, self-confidence, and ​social mobility.

Our programmes and initiatives are designed to break down ​barriers to education, uplift marginalised communities, and ​create pathways for a brighter future. By equipping children ​with the tools they need, we strive to improve their lives and ​help them realise their full potential.

Child Sponsorship Programme

Without the help of our sponsors and your donations, the children supported by the Dzidzo ​Foundation would have little hope of securing a substantial education. Even small donations ​can make an enormous impact on a child and their family within the communities we serve.

The average annual cost to send one child to school, covering fees, uniforms, books, and ​school supplies, is only $100 for ages 5 to 12, and around $200 for ages 13 to 18. For many ​families in rural Zimbabwe, these expenses can be overwhelming, leading to children ​starting school later or dropping out altogether. Together, we provide children with the tools ​they need to step confidently into the future.

Donjani Library Project

Libraries are fundamental and serve as cornerstones of ​healthy communities. We regularly collect and send donated ​books and educational resources to improve the quality of ​education for those we support. This initiative helps ​individuals and local communities access, read, and ​understand books.

By providing books and educational resources, we enable ​students to acquire knowledge and achieve their full ​potential.
